Yeah so, I've had this rat for about a year now okay. I named him Ratrap, y'know, from Beast Wars. I'm a total loser okay I get it. But anyways, having a domesticated rat in my room has been one of the coolest pet experiences ever. Coolest animal ever. I can take him out, put him on my shoulder, and just walk to the store or something. Pretty fucking awesome. So, anyone reading this who is looking for a super easy to take care of pet, pick up a domesticated rat from your local pet store. I raised mine from a baby so it's completely in love with me. Fuck gerbils or hamsters, or even cats or dogs.

He sits there perfectly like a parrot. My friend also has a rat, and awhile ago he actually took it to Pizza Hut with it on his shoulder. It was awesome. My ray will follow me around most of the time, although he is a wanderer. They've got such an awesome personality. If you were to get one, just pay <b>a lot</b> of attention to it while it's growing up. Otherwise it'll be afraid of people.
But yeah, best pet ever.
